5/16/2026 - Newark 2nd alarm

At around 5:05 PM in the City of Newark a fire was reported at 931 South 19th Street with reports of possible people trapped in the 3 story single family home. The fire spread to exposures on both the bravo and delta sides.  The fire was marked extinguished at 6:42 PM, the incident left twenty adults displaced, four children, and well as one party transported to the hospital. The incident saw response from: Newark Fire Department, Irvington Fire Department, Bells and Sirens Club, multiple ambulances, sprint units and supervisors from the university hospital, the red cross, and mutual aid for house coverage. (This information is the best of my knowledge from my time on the incident as well as radio traffic, please inform me if there are any errors.)
